Their services cater to a wide range of individuals, including young people struggling with focus issues, middle-aged individuals experiencing brain fog and forgetfulness, and those who are concerned about the early signs of dementia or Alzheimer's.

Greetings to all who have faithfully continued to follow the Brain Intercept page. I am going through a significant modification of the restructured Brain Intercept part of the evolving, more powerful family of community and professional folks bringing an essential and extremely exciting service to Aberdeen. Brain Intercept began with a dual focus on the medical aspects of diagnosis with recommendations of natural measures to support brain health alongside a powerful occupational therapy assessment and intervention to stabilize brain health in concert with family medical providers. After a difficult and pretty costly few years, I had to reduce the medical component leaving the occupational medical services functioning under Sarah Viola. As Sarah has moved from Aberdeen with her husband accepting a new job in Wisconsin, the occupational therapy component also is now not functioning. I am happy to report that two similarly oriented services are now available and will continue that vital role. They have my full support and blessing. I will share details in future (shorter) posts.
The current Brain Intercept will provide individuals with economical cognitive screening and recommendations for rehabilitation options, brain wellness education that addresses lifestyle modifications, diet and mindfulness measures and the exciting addition of the services of Integrative Psychiatric interventions for the many stress/ depression issues that come with a family member with dementia. The local Alzheimer’s Association representative and the Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce have given powerful support to this uniquely Aberdeen community effort.
So much more to say. I hope this is enough to let everyone know we are alive and well and part of a big team forming up in service of our fellow Aberdeen citizens.
