Aberdeen Haunted Forest

🎃🌲 A huge Haunted Forest thank you to our incredible cosponsors—Aberdeen Parks, Recreation, and Forestry! 🌲🎃

Once again, they braved the spooky season alongside Deidra and Peter the Pumpkin and all the Aberdeen Optimist Club friends, tolerating our tricks, embracing the treats, and helping us turn the woods into a wonderland of fright and fun.

From guiding ghouls to securing the shadows, keeping concessions creepy-delicious, and lending hands (and rakes!) wherever needed—this event wouldn’t be possible without their dedication.

The Haunted Forest is more than just a walk in the woods—it’s a full-on community conjuring. It takes a village of volunteers, partners, and spirited souls to bring the magic to life, and we’re beyond grateful to everyone who helped make it happen.

Until next year… beware the rustle in the trees 👻🍂

📸 PS: There were many more Parks, Recreation, and Forestry heroes haunting the forest with us—but these are just the few brave souls who got caught on camera with Peter the Pumpkin before they realized he was staging a photo op and promptly confiscated our camera for “security reasons.” 😅

Peter insists it was a misunderstanding. We insist he was trying to launch his modeling career.
