The current elected Commissioner of Public Lands, who runs the WA Department of Natural Resources (DNR), is incompetent and extreme in his uniformed views about his agency.
He should resign. But he probably won't.
To recall him, the people would need to show that his managerial incompetence meets the legal standard of "misfeasance or malfeasance." That's a very difficult standard to meet. But, each week, it seems closer.

Pay attention to the upcoming races for WA State Supreme Court justices. Five of the nine seats on that Court will be up for election on this November's general election ballot.
