Rev. Alba recently participated in a conference Practicing Resistance: In the Pulpit and Beyond hosted by Stellenbosch University’s Gender Unit and the Beyers Naudé Centre for Public Theology, engaging in conversations on reimagining faith and practicing resistance within and beyond religious spaces in South Africa.

From exploring what it means to understand the body of God through q***r belonging to reflecting on how resistance is lived in everyday faith practices, these sessions continue to push the boundaries of theology toward justice and liberation.

We’re grateful to be part of global conversations that challenge, reimagine, and transform how faith shows up in the world.
