Canvas by Instructure has been a stable , functional, and useful tool on ACU's campus for 8 years. During the last two years, Canvas allowed our campus to pivot to remote and socially distanced learning. On the sixth day of Christmas, we are featuring Virtual Reality in the classroom. Virtual reality gives students the opportunity to travel to places they otherwise not have. Whether the ruins of Machu Picchu as an archeoligist, into the mind of someone with a debilitating disease to develop empathy as a caregiver, or into the orbit of moons of Neptune, students can further their reaches through virtual experiential learning.
