Tomorrow at all WCPL locations, children and their grown-ups will work together to create a family of dinosaurs in a keepsake craft they will treasure forever!

If you have a child who would enjoy a good fossil dig, all five of our libraries will have a "Fossil Finds" program on Wednesday, June 17 at 11 a.m. We will dig through sediment to unearth a story from the past as part of our Summer Reading Program. https://www.wcpl.net/event/fossil-finds/

Everyone is welcome to join us at Glade Spring Library for Music & a Movie with Friends! The free party starts at 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Music is provided by the Wolf Hills Jazz Quintet and the Ledgerwoods.

Light refreshments, beverages, and a cake will be served.

In the community room, join our Chalk and Talk to come up with creative ideas for future library programming.

Sign up for the Friends of the Library at the signup table, and receive a raffle ticket to win one of many great prizes.

Before the Movie in the Square at 9 p.m., we will have fun activities: co****le, ring toss, sidewalk chalk, a bubble machine, and noise play for kids and families. We’ll even have a fire truck!

The movie is “October Sky.”

Snacks for the movie are provided by local businesses.
