Oil will always find a way through RTV. Here’s the real fix for a leaky dipstick tube on a 7.3L powerstroke diesel. The original design is weak and deforms so even if you replace the o-rings it will still leak. This @strictly_diesel dipstick adapter repair kit replaced the whole unit with a hassle-free heavy duty version that prevents leaks and is too easy to install.
