EASTER HUNT MADE EASY

It happens every Spring, or nearly. Snow subdued by sunshine. Ice melts, creeks rise. Newborn calves bawl, lambs bleat and we humans believe that maybe this is it. Spring, really. Even when we know better. Of course it's not Spring, not even by the calendar. It likely won't be Spring in April when it snows. And May when hummingbirds lower their metabolism to survive ty the white surprise of it. Maybe even in June, just about when apple blossoms appear. But we're replenished by the newborn mountain goats scaling down shale with their heard. Soon we'll see soft dotted fur on fawns. Daffodils will come on, along with crocuses. Yet, we need to wait awhile longer for the real thing, thankful that we got the taste and breath of it.

Northwestern Energy made a fix in a power pole that was noticed last week to be burnt. A temporary power outage that lasted less than 1 1/2 hours and for very few homes. Thank you for taking care of our town and doing the crazy work you do.
