A special message from Sir Anthony as the church enters a New Ecclesial Year: Hello everyone and Happy New Year! Today is the first Sunday of Advent, also known as "Hope Sunday," and is the ecclesial New Year. As we prepare our hearts for Christmas, I want to take the time to remind you of the HOPE we have in Jesus Christ. In the 8th Century before Christ, the prophet Isaiah spoke these words: "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulders, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." We are blessed to serve King Jesus, the Mighty God who humbled Himself and became a man, to live and die and rise again for our salvation. As we start this Advent season, I want to encourage you to meditate on the one true hope of the world, the baby who was and is and is yet to come, who's birth changed the world forever. Tonight we will be thanking God for the faithful Christians who have gone before us to preserve the Gospel of Salvation for us to hear and accept.

Tomorrow we will be praying for friends, family, and community members who gave not yet accepted the free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ our Savior.
