Yozakura Japanese Kitchen

Well. Social media strikes again. Yes, it’s official, we will be closing our doors at Yozakura on South Main St. on September 1st. Our last service will be Saturday August 31st. Unfortunately, there are certain bylaws in the town of Acushnet that require parking in order for a place to have dine in. As big as the building is, it would not be smart for us to be strictly a take out establishment. We hope that a future tenant can create a takeout concept that can flourish there but it does not work for us. We appreciate all the support we have had in the past and couldn’t be where we are today without you guys! Don’t worry ! We want to continue to bring Japanese culture and hospitality to you as best as we can. We have a potential location in Fairhaven that we are looking into. We will know more soon. It would be smaller cafe, or in Japanese 喫茶店 (kissaten), feel with the same vibe and hospitality we bring at Yozakura. Some of the fan favorites from Yozakura will be available as a grab and go option since our kitchen will be significantly smaller. Please follow on Instagram for updates! Just a PSA on parking. We do have our own spots behind the fence of chucks in the Knoxx reality parking lot. I wouldn’t want any of our patrons to be inconvenienced if our neighbors took action for parking in their spots. I know it’s not pretty clear so I hope the maps on here and the website help.
