Acushnet Rifle & Pistol Club
We are a members only indoor shooting range with 8 stations. 4 for use with up to .45 caliber and 4 for no more than .38 calibers.
Good evening and hope everyone is well!
We need to have another work party this coming Saturday from 9-12. We need to focus on the outside and also put in some of the new rubber blocks. They are about 100lbs each. If you're coming to do outdoor work, please bring yard tools (rakes and such). Andy will be bringing a dump trailer for us to use.

Good morning everyone!
Wednesday night, the ARPC Board of Directors met to discuss important club items. These items are outlined here:
Live Fire Training by Private Instructors
The board feels that there’s too much liability for the club and its Board of Directors if we allow private instructors who have not been sanctioned by the club to use the club for live fire training for their own classes. However, there has been interest expressed by members of the club and the Board to offer live fire training for club members. The Board will be reaching out to club members who are certified NRA instructors who may be interested in applying to the Board for one of 3 Range Safety Officer positions. These positions are entirely voluntary, and the instructors will be in charge of coordinating live fire trainings for club members, range safety instruction classes, and overseeing new member qualification. Eric Chew will be reaching out to the list of certified instructors that he has on file in separate email.
New Member Live Fire Qualification
Starting in the 2027 membership year, all prospective new members will be required to meet with a Range Safety Officer prior to being voted as a full member. The safety officer will ensure that the prospective new member is capable of handling a firearm safely, demonstrate that they can hit a target, etc. If the new member is unable to do so, the Club will hold their spot for 90 days to allow them to get further training then return for re-evaluation by a Range Safety Officer. Failure to do so during this time will result in the prospective member losing their place on the waiting list.
Change to Membership Roster Total
Starting in the 2027 membership year, we will not be accepting new members until our roster is reduced, through attrition, to under 200 members. When that happens, our roster will have a total of 200 members. This has been discussed many times with the membership and at Board meetings. Currently, we have 22 people on our waiting list, and Eric Chew will be reaching out to them to let them know that we are not accepting new members until further notice. Eric Chew will be updating our website and page to reflect this change.
Digital FOB Access
The new FOB access system is up and running and has been well received. Eric Chew will start offering a digital FOB access to our members. The digital FOB option will allow members to use their cell phone and connected watch (ie. Apple Watch) to access the door system like their membership card ID. This access requires the member to install an application called Unifi Endpoint on their mobile device and create an account with Unifi. Once this is done, the member will receive an invite from the club to add a digital pass (FOB) to their device. The cost for this is $10 a year (we need to charge for this because the club is charged for this feature). When creating an account with UniFi, please make sure you use the same email address you submitted to the club. Those interested in in a digital FOB, please reach out to Eric Chew.
If you have questions about any of these items, please email Eric Chew, Membership Director.
Thank you, Board of Directors
Good morning!
For those who have had their new IDs made, they are at the club. You can pick them up with Monday or Tuesday night. Please see Andy or a board member to pick it up. Be sure to bring an ID.
If you have YET to have it made (there’s about 20 member who have not done this), you will still need to coordinate a time with me to have you new ID made. Just a reminder that you will not be able to get into the club until you get your new ID made as the old FOBs do NOT work with the new FOB system.
Thanks!
