The winner of that raffle purchased some tickets and for a fraction of the price won this package. Now on this vehicle that is worth approximately $400. Today was the day they were able to have that work completed and it came out great.

This 2025 Colorado came
In for an interior and exterior with the advanced package. That means once it was all cleaned up the exterior received a one step polish/sealant. The sealant is infused with a ceramic product helping it last up to 12 months. Prior to the sealant a couple of very minor scratches were removed and a few sap spots were taken care of. A decal removal from the paint was also removed.

It’s now ready to hit the road while being protected and looking great.

One of last weeks jobs. This client has been getting Garage 17s advanced exterior as well as our interior for the past couple of years. This week we removed some large scratches on the drivers door. Some branches caused the scratches this winter. After some sanding , compounding and polishing the results speak for themselves. A few other minor scratches were polished out as well. The leather interior was also treated with a UV protectant/moisturizer to help that black leather from drying out and keep that great feel.

I should have done some before photos but I got to work before I thought of it. The paint will now have up to 12 months of protection and make washing just a little easier.

This client chose a wash clay and seal combined with an interior cleaning to finish up the week.

This G80 came in for an interior and exterior package. To top it off this client went with our 3 year ceramic coating and wheel coating. The gloss on this is amazing and it’s extremely slick. Washing and drying times will be cut in half.

I’ve had a lot of questions lately about ceramic coatings, and I’ve found there are a lot of misconceptions out there. So here’s a little Ceramic Coating Myth Busters.

Ceramic Coatings WILL NOT:

❌ Make it so you never have to wash your car again.
❌ Act like armor and prevent scratches.
❌ Prevent water spots.

Ceramic Coatings WILL:

✅ Create a slick surface that’s easier to wash.
✅ Cut down washing and drying time.
✅ Make bugs, road grime, and dirt easier to remove.
✅ Buy you time when bird droppings, tree sap, or other acidic contaminants land on your paint.
✅ Resist many chemicals and environmental contaminants.
✅ Take the initial hit from etching contaminants before they reach your clear coat.
✅ Add gloss and enhance the look of your paint.
✅ Provide UV protection that helps slow oxidation and fading over time.

That said, most of the gloss and clarity people notice comes from the prep work—the washing, decontamination, compounding, and polishing that takes place before the coating is applied.

Water spots, bird droppings, sap, and other contaminants can still etch if left on the surface long enough. The difference is that the ceramic coating takes the hit, buying you valuable time to safely remove them.

One of the biggest benefits I see? The amount of time spent washing and drying your vehicle is often cut nearly in half. The vehicle stays cleaner longer, washes easier, and drying becomes much less of a chore.
