I have been keeping this close, because I have been nervous about whelping. But mom and pups are doing great and I am excited to announce I have GSP pups available to hunting or active family homes.

TFK Kind of a Big Dill “Pickles”

C**t is a mid range dog that has adapted to the northeast grouse woods and is natural in the western prairies. He is biddable with a little bit of a stubborn streak but will hunt day in & day out and makes it look good. Good in water, natural retrieve, great tracking, calm in the home. Keeps easy and travels easy & enjoys winter nights by a wood stove in his cozy cave.

Pickles is an even-keeled closer ranging dog. Excels in the northeast grouse woods and western prairies, but will not range greatly. She has been the easiest GSP I have ever trained in all respects of a versatile dog, with her methodical nose being my favorite quality. She will come out of the box ready to hunt everyday but is just as happy to hang out with the family on a day(s) off. She is goofy, loyal, and a wonderful first-time mama and is a proponent of “move your feet loose your seat (or pillows)”.

These pups will excel in a home with a job, hunting or otherwise. I’m excited to watch them grow!

Conditioning - Mental & Physical Well-being - Specific Skill Training

We ask a lot of our working dogs. The least we can do is give them every advantage to be prepared mentally and physically.

Nutrition, proper conditioning, and rest alongside training are all key components to success. It is important to know how to recognize mild or chronic pain/discomfort and understand how we can help minimize injury. And above all know you're Intent.
INTENT DRIVES ACTION & CREATES CLARITY

Swim conditioning intervals:

*Sprocket - get more comfortable in big open water without looking for shore, & be able to start thinking through an exhaustive state
*C**t - expand search and start seeing a picture in big open water
*Leroy - low impact conditioning, get comfortable on longer swims

Preventative measures are often over-looked because we don't see "results" immediately, however there is a lot we do not see that affects how canine athletes (like human athletes) perform mentally and physically.

Hunting season may be several months, so START PREPARING TODAY🪶🐾🦆
