Tonight's project: replace the 80's octagon above our mantle with a rustic-modern wood treatment.
Next: attack the rest of all this crazy 80's trim.
A new endeavor- working with live edge! This piece of cedar turned out beautifully and has gorgeous deep grooves that aren't as noticeable in the video as in person. We made this live edge/Singer sewing machine base combo into a bar with glass racks attached to the underside of the wood.
