This Memorial Day, the team at Ada Veterinary Clinic pauses to honor and remember the brave men, women, and K9 heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. We are profoundly grateful for their courage, dedication, and service. ✨

In observance of the holiday, our office will be closed all day on Monday, May 25th, so our staff can spend the holiday with their families. We will reopen for regular hours on Tuesday, May 26th.

Protecting your pets from rabies is one of the most important things you can do for their health and our community's safety. To make it easier than ever, Ada Veterinary Clinic is hosting our annual Rabies Clinic next month!

🗓 When: Tuesday, June 9th | Wednesday, June 10th | Thursday, June 11th
💰 Cost: Just $10 per pet!

No appointments needed for the rabies vaccine during these dates—just show up and help us keep Ada pets safe. Please ensure all dogs are on a leash and cats are in a secure carrier. 🐕🐈

🐾 Veterinary Assistant Week Spotlight: Avery! 🐾
It’s Veterinary Assistant Week, and we are double-celebrating because as of May 23rd, Avery marks exactly three years with our team! 🎉

If you’ve brought livestock through our gates, you’ve probably seen Avery out in the barn. He is our go-to guy for large animals, and his absolute favorites to work with are cows. 🐄 Avery thrives in the fast-paced barn environment because he loves being hands-on, learning something new every day, and ensuring your herd gets the absolute best care.

Over the last three years, Avery has made countless great memories here. But if you ask him for a story from the barn, you’re definitely going to hear a hilarious tale about the rowdy bulls or cows that were out to get him or trying to single-handedly remodel the facility! 😂

🪵 Beyond the Barn
When he isn't handling livestock or tackling his college coursework, Avery stays busy outdoors and with the people he loves:

Spending quality time with his wife, family, and friends. 🌲

Perfecting his craft smoking meats. 🍖

Heading out for a day of fishing and hunting. 🎣🏹
