Another successful night at the Academy! I absolutely love what I get to do every single day.

I truly believe every boy and girl should train in martial arts especially wrestling, American Jiu-Jitsu, and boxing. Boxing develops footwork, balance, timing, and confidence. Wrestling and Jiu-Jitsu teach control, discipline, and what to do if you’re ever taken to the ground. These are life skills that can build confidence both on and off the mats.

I’m incredibly proud of these two young ladies. They’re the toughest five-year-olds around, and I tell them that every single day. They repeat it, they believe it, and that’s exactly the kind of confidence we’re building.

Teaching three-, four-, and five-year-olds isn’t for everyone. It takes patience, creativity, consistency, and positive energy to help young children develop the right habits and skills. After more than 18 years of coaching, I know what it takes, and I truly love every minute of it.

These girls are just getting started, but I can promise you one thing when they step onto those tournament mats, they’ll be prepared. We’re not just showing up… we’re coming for the gold. 🥇💪🏿
