The Super Bowl 57 flyover will make history with all-female air crews to celebrate 50 years of women in naval aviation. Today, female aviators serve and operate in every level of naval aviation.

The planes will take off from Luke Air Force Base before game time and wait to get called in. Another pilot will be down on the field, coordinating with the producers of the on-field activity. They'll speed up or slow down as needed to pass over the stadium's rim as the National Anthem is ending.

All-female Super Bowl flyover team to make history For the first time in Super Bowl history, an all-female squad will do the Navy flyover to help kick off the big game on Sunday, Feb. 12.

Our lead photo here is one of our favorites from this past week; it captures four very different aircraft (Cirrus, SR20, Cessna C680A Latitude, Beech Starship, and Swearingen SA226T Merlin III) in one frame. Good timing and a fair amount of luck is required to capture a photo like this. Included among the additional photos are some of the larger aircraft that operate in and out of Addison (two BBJs and a B737-200).
