DALLAS CITY MANAGER KIM TOLBERT A TAX DELINQUENT?

While the City of Dallas - City Hall council is on recess, Da Kween is illegally running a side-huzzle selling sugar scrub, and it’s shady to say the least.

The LLC shows “FRANCHISE TAX INVOLUNTARILY ENDED” on the TX Secretary of State website, which means she didn’t file tax reports or pay taxes!

But bigger questions arise: Why does a City Manager who makes $450,000/year need a side-hustle? Could a special interest “buy” a bunch of sugar scrub for a “favor?” The TX Attorney General & Department of Public Safety (Rangers) should look into this immediately.

And btw, the council should not allow this potential for impropriety.

If Tolbert can’t pay her own taxes, Dallasites, how will you feel when she proposes raising yours?

And finally, if this is how Tolbert manages her side business is it any surprise how she epically fumbles running a $5.2 billion city enterprise?

Will the Dallas City Council finally have courage to do what is necessary & dethrone Da Kween (or her preferred name “KWEEN BEE”)?

I’m a cosmopolitan who sees great value in stepping into the shoes of others before judging them.

So I took it upon myself to skip work and attend a game just like Da Kween & select council members.

Unfortunately, I cannot afford a helicopter so I was forced to drive to Arlington with the rest of the unwashed masses.

This is educational. I’m learning the value of misplaced priorities.

In reality, you’re a City Manager kbtdallascm sycophant who would do anything to keep her highness happy.

DALLAS FURLOUGHS EMPLOYEES: Da Kween City Mgr. kbtdallascm announced that she will force all non-uniformed city workers to take 3 unpaid days off to close their $30M budget gap (saving the city a measly $5M).

Or we could have foregone the infamous $6M tree inventory and accomplished the same goal.

The real reason Tolbert did this was a flex to show the City Council, that’s on recess, that she’s the boss and they can’t do anything about it.

The truth is that despite all her narcissistic self-promotion on the city’s social media, producing fake magazine covers flaunting her non-existent accolades, and self-bestowed title of “transformational leader,” Tolbert is a glorified DMV employee who was fetching former City Manager Broadnax’s coffee only a few years ago.

An effective, intelligent leader isn’t concerned about media attention & digs into a budget to find actual waste of which there is plenty.

A furlough is a short-term bandaid that hurts city workers and closes essential city services (libraries, rec centers etc) that doesn’t solve the actual problem. It’s the weight loss equivalent of taking Ozempic rather than adjusting diet and lifestyle.

Tolbert must be fired and replaced with an educated business executive with financial acumen.
