Mrs. Brenda Harris, 55 of Sparks passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022 at her residence. She was born August 16, 1967 to the late Floyd and Dora Patterson. She was a nurse at Cook Memorial Hospital for 20 years. She loved her family, helping people, and she always put other people first before herself. She also attended Cornerstone Church in Sparks.

Survivors include her husband, William Harris of Sparks; sons Cody Hudgins of Sparks, Brandon Harris of Sparks and Blake Harris of Sparks; grandchildren, Ethan Greene and Allissa Greene; nieces, Jennie Harris and Joannie Harris Rogers; nephews, Jonathan Harris and Riley Rutherford and many other nieces and nephews. Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her son, Cory Greene; brother, Eddie Rutherford; and sister, Darlene Patterson.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Pastor Junior Dees officiating. Interment will follow at Sparks City Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at funeral home.
