Director of Community Impact Dr. Christin Seher and Assistant Director of Community Engaged Learning Megan Delong-Borick recently visited John Carroll University's Center for Service Learning and Social Action! It's always nice to network with people that are doing similar things. We chatted about internship programs, Federal Work Study, and the Carnegie Community Engaged Campus classification. Thank you Sister Katherine and Heather for the invite!

Our final Lifetime ACE Scholar from our May 1st EX[L] Awards is Dr. Rebecca (Becky) Erickson. Talk about someone who has had a full career of community engaged research and teaching. Becky is surrounded by the Sociology department, for which she has been the Chair of since 2019. Becky was also one of the first Faculty Steering Committee Members and an early adopter of the [Un]class model. She has encouraged and supported the increase of community-engaged experiential learning in her department for years, and we cannot thank her enough.
