Have a streetlight not working right?

Ensuring the streetlights come on each night is very important, from both a company and customer perspective and improved street lighting can help reduce crime in local neighborhoods and communities.

Here are the best ways to report a streetlight outage:

Call First Energy at 1-888-LIGHTSS (1-888-544-4877) and say “streetlight” after the greeting

or

* Address where the streetlight is located (nearest house or business address and the nearest cross street).
* Number on the utility pole.
* What is wrong with the streetlight (damaged pole; broken light fixture; light is off at night, on during the day, or flickers).

Unfortunately, the City is no longer supporting festivals like the one that we have held for 25 years as the major fundraiser to support our projects in Kenmore. They would prefer smaller one or two-day events more oriented towards adults and political interests, not fun, parades, fireworks and fond memories of the local community.

KCC is now faced with finding alternative events to raise funds to promote community spirit and in Kenmore. We have some projects in the works, but it will ultimately be for the City to approve.
