Better Outcomes

My real education with verbal abuse started when I met my 2nd wife. I knew she had been verbally abused by her first husband. Then, I was ignorant about the damage it can cause, and I thought, mistakenly, that we would be able to work things out. Since then, and please understand that, others have subjected me personally to everything from anti-Semitism, verbal abuse/ evil speech, withdrawal, which is the refusal to speak to someone, and baseless hatred. This concept is from the Old Testament. It is defined as an unfair, excessive, and avoidable reaction by one person that transforms the other person into an enemy and, thereby, destroys the integrity of the relationship.

When I realized what was going on, I repeatedly, suggested counseling for both of us. Eventually she went, unbeknownst to me. When she asked for a separation, followed by counselling, I thought there was hope. I moved what I needed from home, and my office, into a small apartment. 4 years later Better Outcomes is barely surviving, as am I.

Moving out of our house, resulted in the loss of contact with our daughter and my stepson. The final insult came in July of 2018, when the Manager of my nursing home sent me a notice to tell me that the company was not going to renew our lease. When it expired on 12/31/2018, my income stopped. When I entered the building on 1/2/2019, I found that it was empty of residents and that the maintenance was so bad, that I couldn’t find another manager to run it, or sell it for enough money to support me and my family. I tried to turn it into an addiction treatment facility. What I found was that no one in the business was looking for a partner. All they expected me to do was to deliver a useable building to them, agree on a reasonable price for a lease and to leave them alone.

A couple of months ago, my wife and I have dissolved our marriage and sold our house, for much less than it was worth. That brings us up to date. The cost of repairs has risen, I estimate, to $750,000 I have little money left and I found an attorney who, on our first conversation, seems like the person and firm that I’ve been looking for to sue my former and last management company.

I never expected to be in this kind of condition. BUT there is still HOPE. I have gained a lifetime of experience of how things really work. I am still thinking outside the box and that is where Better Outcomes, comes in.

I have built a model that reaches from the old testament to the role models of our society. I am ready to roll out a Peaceful Disruption of political debates, with what we call Candidate Conversations. These events, run by Mediators, can change the relationship between politicians and their constituents.
