CHAMPION AN ITEM FOR HOPE IN THE HEAT! ☀️

On July 26, Akron Snow Angels will host Hope in the Heat, our largest summer outreach event, serving hundreds of individuals and families experiencing homelessness and hardship throughout our community.

We’re looking for businesses, organizations, churches, families, friend groups, and generous individuals willing to champion an item and help us collect 300 of one specific need.

Can you rally your coworkers, friends, congregation, or organization to secure 300 of one of the below items??

🧼 300 body wash
🧼 300 bars of soap
🧴 300 full-size deodorants
💋 300 lip balms/ChapSticks
☀️ 300 Sunscreens
😎 300 pairs of Sunglasses
💧 300 Reusable water bottles
🦶 Antifungal foot powder
🌧️ Rain ponchos
🛏️ Blankets
🪥 300 Toothbrushes & 300 full size Toothpaste
🧦 New socks

Mark your calendars! Our annual summer mission, Hope in the Heat, is happening on Sunday, July 26 at Annunciation Akron Greek Orthodox Church.

This is one of our most impactful days of the year and brings together our community to provide essentials, support, and connection to our friends facing homelessness and hardship during the hottest months.

In the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing ways for companies, families, and individuals to get involved by sponsoring much-needed items and helping us make this day truly special.
