Public Relations open the show at 8:30 for Container (UK) at the CAVE , Monday, 4/6.

Public Relations is the Akron-based duo of Pete Bach (scare words, Serrated Slump) and Robin Guiler (Horses 4k, Valley Girls). Using samplers and synthesizers, the duo creates techno and plunderphonics inflected noise music that ridicules late stage capitalism by using its own excretia as raw material. Using a collage of “news” reports, ads, and sound bites from low rent celebrities (including a certain steak entrepreneur), Public Relations critiques the culture of forced participation in brain rotted media. They have released three albums, “Landfill Culture,” “The Endless Scroll,” and “Security Culture;” on labels like Rubber City Noise and Soft Pedestal.

Is my bank my friend? Does my phone love me? Does ChatGPT really think I’m God? Is my band a psyop? Only Public Relations can say for sure.

12 O’Clock Tribe is a four piece unification of roots and culture producing a distinct and original reggae sound. Featuring Kevin Nunn on drums/vocals, Jordan Nunn on guitar/vocals, India Nunn on bass/vocals, and Pete Bach on synthesizers.

Church of Starry Wisdom kick off the night downstairs at the CAVE this Friday, 3/20 at 9 pm.

CoSW is an ensemble of griots whose song-craft emphasizes storytelling in retro-future parables, experimenting in pop & soul through a rock-operatic lens. Their analog-digital hybrid sound takes audiences on cosmic trips through time and space using elements of noise, punk, jazz, rock, R&B, and musical theater.
