🇮🇹 The cannoli originated in Sicily and dates way back to between the 9th-11th centuries! The word “cannoli” comes from the Latin word canna, meaning reed, because the pastry dough was originally wrapped around river reeds. It still remains one of Sicily’s most popular desserts today! It made its way to America in the 19th century and grew in popularity after the famous line in the Godfather: “Leave the gun. Take the cannoli.” 🤌🏼

💝 Our DeVitis family cannoli filling recipe has been around for decades. It’s a traditional cream made from fresh ricotta cheese. We have them available in small (3” cannoli for $1.75) and large (5” cannoli for $3.15). We make them fresh daily and have them in our dessert case.
