Oh, Alameda, you've shown me so much support & enthusiasm since moving my practice here from Oakland almost 4 years ago. It’s time to give thanks & recirculate that love back! ❤️

I've come up with an idea to donate a percentage of my 2018 revenue to an organization here in town.

Causes that are near and dear to me: educational opportunities for low-income groups & racial justice. Do you know of an organization, a non-profit, volunteer group, etc, that is centered around either of these causes?

I'll be accepting nominations throughout 2018 & will keep you updated regularly until we have a final recipient. In the meantime, feel free to comment your ideas below. To my past, current, & prospective patients, thank you all so much!

Hello Monday morning, let's do this.

This has been a challenging year for many of us. For me, pep talks were often the remedy in turning the ship around amidst turbulent waves. As we bid farewell to 2017, may you all remember to draw from the wells of strength that provide from within each and every one of you.

And for those who need replenishing of their wells, there's always Acupuncture With Grace :)

Acupuncture With a Zap May Ease Constipation 11/20/2017

May your Thanksgiving week be filled with gratitude and abundance!

I am so grateful to have chosen a profession that truly is my passion, I am thankful for all my patients for their commitment to whole body health, and continually impressed by this 3,000-year-old medicine whose results are still relevant in modern times. Take a look at this article: https://goo.gl/Bvzo8Y

Constipation is one disorder that I treat with great success in my practice. If you find yourself very uncomfortable after this week of feasting, consider Acupuncture With Grace. And don't forget about my Flu Season Special ending this month November 30! See post from October 30 for details.

Acupuncture With a Zap May Ease Constipation A randomized controlled trial has found that a particular type of acupuncture that uses an electric current is effective in relieving constipation.

Today, and every day:

Nourish your mind with positive thought.
Nourish your body with good food, sleep, and sunshine.
Nourish your spirit with what makes it sing.

When more help is needed, there's acupuncture.

Cooler temps have finally arrived to the Bay Area! As an acupuncturist, I encourage eating appropriately for the seasons. This means eating more warm, cooked foods during the winter months and lighter fare like salads for the summer months. One of my favorite soups to enjoy now is kabocha squash soup. Kabocha squash is a powerhouse of nutrients and fiber. Its sunny color brightens up your kitchen table while its smooth, velvety texture and sweet delicate taste will leave you and your family happily well-nourished. Enjoy!
