Feeling the full moon energy, powerful transformation is here. Big changes in our front yard to match! Went to the nursery today and picked out new plants, relishing all the green, the oxygen, even in the midst of the smokey skies, the heat, and the how awkward I always feel with a mask on. Butterflies landed on my hat.

While I've found myself in a lot of down moments lately, I refuse to let "it" win. When the air is falling white ash and smells like a fireplace, my eyes burn, my throat gets hoarse and my heart aches. Yet, in the face of all the uncertainty, I know I have a choice. To choose what thoughts I think and to discard the ones that are no longer playing my song.

If your ego is getting in your way and it's hard to know which voice to listen to, remember this: the voice of the ego is demanding, loud, selfish, angry, cynical, critical. The voice of your higher self is kind, loving, gentle, patient, and persistent when necessary, but never, ever cruel. Tune in and turn on.

True freedom begins in the mind. And we all have the power to make a different choice everyday.

New garden/side yard design.

When you remove old boundaries and divisions, so many possibilities open up. We don't have to keep that pathway. We can change the brick we never loved. We can go minimal. We could even take out that tree in the front. Uuhhhh... Okay. Backup. Ixnay on the etray.
We still need SOME boundaries.
