Some think that sinning is fun, but in reality it’s end result is death. It robs, kills and destroys.
If Adam and Eve did not escape from God’s judgement, what makes us think we’ll get away with it?
You might say, but now we have grace. Grace is not given for us to indulge in sin, or to have permission to sin, rather it is given to us to overcome it. His grace is sufficient, it’s the strength to overcome whatever tugs at our flesh to sin.
Turning away from our sin in a state of repentance will cause grace to come into effect in our lives. Grace covers a multitude of sins through God’s forgiveness. It comes to us freely, but it wasn’t free, it cost our Lord Jesus His life. He died that we may live. Live a life free of sin, not a life free to sin.
