I’ve seen this so many times in many different communities. It has happened to me in the past and is sad to see it happen to others. If people use you to get ahead, choose to love them anyway, send them off with a prayer, and stay away from them. Choose to Unfollow, unfriend, be still, and continue your beautiful journey unattached. Once you have fulfilled your purpose they will move on to next person that will be used to get further ahead. It’s an endless cycle of inauthentic behavior until their deeds catch back up to them. Never think for one moment that a behavior, deed, or energy goes unnoticed or unchecked. What you put out comes back to you in one way or another. Choose to Work on your inner beauty which will render any inauthentic or wretched energy from others ineffectual. When the tables have turned and the inauthentic individuals taste their own medicine, be mindful of your own response. Choose to not seek the satisfaction to witness justice. If you are seeking justice you know an individual is not ineffectual in your life. They have power over you. Choose not to give your power away. Everything is a choice.
