We’re so excited and honored to be featured in Sprudge’s article, “Beyond Malabar: Indian Coffee Comes Into The Spotlight.” ☕✨
It’s amazing to see Indian specialty coffee getting the recognition it deserves—beyond just Monsoon Malabar, with all the incredible regional flavors and processing styles coming to the forefront.
The piece also shines a light on the amazing smallholder farmers behind these coffees and the growing love for Indian coffee among specialty roasters worldwide. We’re so grateful to be part of this story and can’t wait to keep sharing India’s incredible coffee with the world! 🌏💛
Thank you for your research & review 🤓

We were thrilled to partner with Babo’s Kitchen at this year’s South Asian Literature and Art Festival (SALA) - a vibrant celebration of creativity, community, and culture, curated by and hosted at Menlo College.
From bold Indian coffee and comforting Kadak chai to soulful South Asian bites, it was a joy to share flavors rooted in our Pakistani and Carnatic heritage, reimagined with Bay Area flair. This year’s theme, “Thoughts Without Borders,” reminded us of the powerful role food, art, and storytelling play in connecting people across race, religion, gender, and geography.
Thank you to everyone who visited our booth, shared a cup, and made the weekend unforgettable. And a huge shoutout to for crafting every dish—from the masala corn ribs to so many other standout bites—with heart and creativity. Your food brought our shared vision to life.
Save this post for pairing ideas to try at home, and stay tuned for more stories, flavors, and future collabs!

As we gear up for the new harvest, we’re taking a moment to appreciate the journey of the coffee bean 🌱
From the highlands of India to our roastery in Berkeley, it travels for 12–18 months—through many hands and careful steps—before it reaches your cup.
Harvest begins in October, selections wrap by April/May, and the beans land in California by September, ready to roast ☕️
Here’s a peek at the journey from farm to cup.
