I heard there was a rivalry brewing between Albany Patroons and the NY Phoenix. I brought my camera to get some "highlights" and test out a camera I barely use. I ended up recording 3.5 Quarters of some really good undefeated teams. My submission to the .
Key Performances:
• New York Phoenix:
• Shadell Millinghaus: Led with 27 points. 
• AJ Mosby: Contributed 24 points and 11 assists. 
• Paul Parks: Added 24 points, shooting 6-for-13 from three-point range. 
• Juan Williams Recorded 17 points and 13 rebounds. 
• Albany Patroons:
• Trahson Burrell scored a game-high 38 points with nine rebounds. 
• Ja’Quaye James: Achieved a double-double with 18 points and 11 assists. 
• Mike Parks: Secured 13 rebounds and 10 points. 
This victory advanced the Phoenix to a 3-0 record, while the Patroons experienced their first loss, moving to 3-1. 
The teams are scheduled to face each other again on April 4, 2025, at Armory Studios NY in Schenectady. I may have to swing the block.

Miss the days when was the center of the Basketball discussion. This area has always had talent. As we know it takes extreme dedication sacrifice and year-round focus. Glad to see these two programs in the mix. GreenTech High Charter School showed they have what it takes in a dominant performance. Albany High Athletics Department there is no need to hang your heads, the boy's program is heading in the right direction.
