Marcus Ryan, a 2024 University at Albany Full-Time MBA Program alum, has been promoted to Senior Analyst at Publicis Health Media. He had been with Publicis Colab as an Analyst since graduation.

Marcus describes data as a language, and in his role, he serves as the translator. From simplifying complex datasets to identifying meaningful trends tied to brand campaigns, he bridges the gap between analytics, strategy, investment teams, and clients to turn numbers into clear, actionable insights.

He credits the University at Albany MBA with preparing him for the fast-paced, collaborative nature of his work: "Most classes required group work, which conditioned me for the cross-collaboration that happens on a daily basis." He also points to the importance of using his time in the program to pursue relevant internships, a move that opened the door to the industry he's thriving in today.

In addition to his impressive trajectory at Publicis, Marcus continues to demonstrate his entrepreneurial spirit as the CEO and Founder of Slow & Steady Clothing, a venture he has successfully run since 2020. We are thrilled to celebrate 2009 University at Albany Full-Time MBA Program alum Courtney Baldwin on her promotion to Senior Director, Human Resources at Acuity Brands, a market-leading industrial technology company using smart lighting and building management systems to enable intelligent spaces.​

Courtney joined Acuity Brands in 2024 as Human Resources Director after a 15-year career at GlobalFoundries, where she progressed from Site HR Leader to Chief of Staff to the CHRO, Deputy Director Compensation, and ultimately Director, HR Business Partner.​
