Dougherty County Rotary Club

Last Thursday evening we had a blast at our End-of-the-Year Social last week at Canterbury Kitchen! Our wonderful club president Robin created this fun event so our club could enjoy some relaxing fellowship together! Look at all of those beautiful smiling faces 🤗

Students, Robert Kaiser and Brady Lee were sponsored by our club for RYLA. Joshua Montgomery, a local student, was nominated by our club for an opportunity through the Rotary Club of Moultrie. We are excited to hear from all 3 of our students in our next club meeting, when they are back from camp.
RYLA stands for Rotary Youth Leadership Awards. It is an intensive leadership training program and camp for young people (typically ages 14–30). Participants are selected and fully sponsored by local Rotary Clubs to attend multi-day events focused on building communication, problem-solving, and personal development skills.
