The Albemarle Police Department is proud to announce that Captain David Bryan Springer has successfully graduated from the 298th Session of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.

The FBI National Academy is one of the most prestigious law enforcement leadership programs in the world, with fewer than one-half of one percent of law enforcement leaders selected to attend. During the intensive 10-week program, Captain Springer completed advanced training in leadership, communication, and fitness while earning a "Yellow Brick" by successfully completing the Academy's challenging 6.1-mile obstacle course.

The 298th Session included law enforcement professionals from 46 states, the District of Columbia, 26 countries, military organizations, and federal agencies—providing an incredible opportunity to learn, collaborate, and build partnerships with leaders from around the world.
