UNM Volunteer Birth Companion Program

Many doulas complete training but still feel unsure stepping into births on their own.

The Advanced Doula Traineeship is designed to bridge that gap.

Through structured mentorship, real-world birth experience, and advanced training, participants build the confidence and professional skills needed to move toward certification and sustainable birth work.
