It's that time of year again!
Time to check your HVAC system for signs of visible mold. HVAC systems can be sneaky sources of mold growth, affecting your air quality and household health.
We recommend inspecting your HVAC filter, filter housing, and drain line if you have a humidifier connected to your HVAC system.
Finding mold in your air system can be alarming and unexpected. Your AirWell inspector can help you understand the true state of your household air quality and use their expertise to help your family breathe easy.

Wondering if mold is a reality in your home or apartment? Here are three signs that you could be dealing with mold due to water intrusion, excess humidity, or poor ventilation:
Isolated growth on surfaces: Have you noticed colored spots of fuzzy growth or mildew in your bathroom (shower, bathtub, etc.), on your baseboards, or windowsills? This type of growth is particularly common in areas with heightened humidity.
Surface growth: Large visible areas of growth, often noticed on ceilings or walls with plumbing materials inside. These growths often appear brown, black, or yellow and frequently indicate a systemic problem within the residence.
What’s that smell? Many clients come to us not because of visible growth but because they have a persistent and troubling scent within their homes. Clients often describe a dank, musty, mildew smell that doesn’t dissipate and is noticed by visitors. These scents are often caused by poor ventilation along with unaddressed water damage.
If you have noticed any of these signs or signals within your home, visit www.airwellnow.com to begin your journey towards safe indoor air quality.
