Compassion Uprising

This evening, Compassion Uprising was assisting this awesome organization and tomorrow we will be sorting/boxing food for 250 families. The area the food will be delivered to is one of the most rural areas on the Navajo Nation. At the onset of the pandemic in 2020, this was one of the areas on the Navajo Nation that we were able to assist with food/supplies. None of this work was ever possible without the generosity, donations and compassion of supporters like You. Thank you. 👊🏾❤️

WCK’s Relief Team is supporting the Navajo Nation in Pinon, Arizona, after delays in SNAP food assistance caused by the U.S. government shutdown. More than one-third of families here rely on SNAP, so our teams are working with local partners to distribute food kits that ensure families have a reliable source of nourishment as the delays persist.

I couldn't sleep last night and I was up super early this morning as this has been on my mind for the past couple of weeks now.
This may be the time to start this back up again.
Finding a way to help my people, the elders, veterans, single parent homes, the high risk families has always been the core of Compassion Uprising.
At the height of the pandemic, this is what I was doing with help from friends and supporters of the cause.
Assisting with food, household supplies and coordinating efforts such buying firewood from local vendors to deliver firewood.
Compassion Uprising is privately funded with monetary donations, with every dollar accounted for through transparency.
We are only successful in assisting people if there are funds available to do so, donate if you are able or share this post.
I sold some artwork recently and thus I've bought a truckload of firewood, which was delivered recently to an elder living alone.
The vendor has another truckload available for sale at $140.
