The Center for the Book is celebrating the First Folio Traveling Exhibition (http://abclibrary.org/shakespeare) by taking a look at a few of our Shakespeare treasures. The first folio is big and beautiful, but our 1932 Allied Newspapers Ltd. edition of the Bard's complete works is compact and cunning. The 39 volumes fit on a rack that's 8" wide x 9" tall x 3" deep. Too bad our arms aren't long enough to read the small print!
