This photo, taken September 16, 1961, of a White House meeting between Jacqueline Bouvier's future husband, President John F. Kennedy and Gen. Lucius D. Clay, his representative in Berlin in 1961 and 1962, comes to us from the archives of the Central Intelligence Agency. General Clay was the chief architect of the concept of a "cultural cold war" with the USSR. Clay remains a contentious historical figure most notably for controversially commuting the death sentences of convicted N**i war criminals. This cold war, which began in the closing days of World War II and would continue unabated until 1991, created the fertile business environment in which military contractors and suppliers such as Frogbrain would germinate and thrive.

This charming photo from the Danish National Archive circa 1964 of Hilda and her beautiful daughter, Tilly, brings to mind the seminal report, "Chimpanzee Intelligence Is Heritable" authored by William D. Hopkinsc, Jamie L. Russell, Jennifer Schaeffer. This report posits the following thesis, "It has now become increasingly clear that IQ is heritable in humans, but these effects can be modified by nongenetic mechanisms." Do we find in this study and its conclusion the beginnings of an explanation for how twelve extraordinary young women, ten of whom were raised by single mothers, could and would forge a sisterhood of intellect and drive that would become Frogbrain? In the entire history of the early 20th century stranger things have, of course, happened but not very many, and not very often.

This photo of an elegant gentleman with his Jaguar XK150 circa 1961 introduces us to the first of the five recurring themes (don't worry, the other four will each be revealed in time) that run like the twists and turns of an amazonian river through our chronicle, a deep (bordering on obsessive) love of Jaguar Automobiles. Amazingly, Jaguar cars and their well-known foibles played an outsized role in the history of Frogbrain, going back to the very founding of the firm and continuing through to present day.

Soldiers from the 44th Infantry Division exhibit the true spirit of the holidays by eating a military style open-air Thanksgiving dinner circa 1941. We give thanks to the courageous military men and women who serve and protect our great nation. Please keep all of our veterans and active duty personnel in your hearts and prayers on this very special day.

This polished slab of high-grade uranium ore in Todilto Limestone was mined and photographed at the Frogbrain mine near Grants, New Mexico. circa. 1972. For the good of the planet and future generations let's hope that this type of mining and the use of nuclear energy will reduce dramatically and eventually cease entirely over the coming decades. I encourage all visitors of this page to speak out in support of The Paris Agreement which was signed by 195 countries.
