Team: Congress is working on the next round of relief for COVID-19. We are asking that EMS receive direct relief in Phase 4. Please take action on the NAEMT online legislative services tool and use it to send your House Representative an email urging them to sign on to a Dear Colleague letter that includes these points:
Amending the Stafford Act to enable all 9-1-1 medical responders to apply directly to FEMA for Public Assistance Grants beginning immediately, and for the duration of the public health crisis.
Appropriating at least $5 billion specifically for EMS within the FEMA grant program.
Waiving the requirement for a 25% match during the pandemic response.
Can we get NM on this map to shade completely in black indicating we have sent the minimum number of letters to our Reps.
Get 10 people to use the tool for each rep and show we have a voice in the game!
Stay Safe!
No need to be a first responder, EMT, or member of NAEMT to take action. Everyone is welcome!
Horrible loss from for NM Flight Medic. Ready easy now.
