"Parenting Outside the Lines" - a LAECC Speaker Series for parents and caregivers of suspected or known neurodiverse, twice exceptional, medically complex, or disabled children especially 0-5 years old.

Free! Dinner and childcare provided.
Registration is required at least 1 week in advance to guarantee dinner and childcare. Late registrations may be accommodated, though perhaps without childcare.

We’ll also cover how to share your child’s routines, communication, and medical needs clearly. Presented by Jen Demas, the Executive Director of Family Strengths Network and with a background in child development and special education.

Parents Reaching Out (PRO) provides support, training and tools for families and youth with disabilities or complex medical needs. Join PRO to learn about navigating the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and Section 504 Plan process, Parent Rights with IEP and 504 Plans, Developmental Disabilities Waiver, and more! There will be a presentation and time for Q&A and mingling.
