UNM Physical Therapy Program

We welcomed the American Council of Academic Physical Therapy to campus for three days of a board retreat this week. The American Council of Academic Physical Therapy (ACAPT) is a not-for-profit association dedicated to excellence in physical therapist education programs as a whole. ACAPT's core purpose is to lead physical therapy in the pursuit of academic excellence.

Did you know that that UNM is a member of this Council and that 92% of all PT academic programs are members?

For the first time in our history…… Lobo DPT students have achieved a remarkable ranking. Our first time NPTE pass rate for 2024-2025 is ranked number 1 out all programs! We share this achievement with only 6 other schools! Way to go LOBOS! Kudos to all students, faculty and staff! It takes a village to achieve this phenomenal outcome but ultimately it all goes back to our students hard work, resilience and grit! So proud!
