Agni is the digestive capacity of the body, mind, and senses and is an essential variable to one's health. To keep this transformative faculty strong, it is vital to favor qualities that characterize this fire, such as foods that are hot, sharp, dry, light, mobile, and subtle.
.
Indigestion is an indicator that the agni is impaired, which can spell disaster for a person's entire being. Try this recipe taken by the teaspoon before and after eating to strengthen and optimize your digestive power.
.
1/4 cup Fennel Seeds
1/4 cup Cumin Seeds
1/4 cup Sesame Seeds
1/4 cup Split Coriander (use a mortar and pestle if needed)
1/8 cup Ajwain
Salt to taste
.
Dry roast each seed separately until aromatic, and pour into a mason jar. Layer all seeds and add a pinch +/- of salt to taste (salt is necessary for ideal digestion). An additional option is to spray the fennel seeds with lime juice to bring in a light and sour taste; this will increase salivary secretions.
.
Due to the dry roasting process, all seeds take on a light quality which enables a more powerful impact on agni.

Empowerment is the process of becoming strong, confident, and the ability to overcome fear. The seeds of courage grow when we prevail over adversity from our spaces of vulnerability.
There are so many external forces that depend on you feeling insignificant and small. That's why it's so important to take the time to cultivate determination and perservance against the struggles of negativity.
