Ghost towns, oddities, and urban decay are plentiful in the desert Southwest. Thompson Springs, UT had a last reported population of 39. Sandwiched between two gas stations on a stretch of old highway, you will find this nearly abandoned city that seems to only be kept alive by an RV park and a hotel called, The Desert Moon. Although this was a very fun stop with tons of picture opportunities, I have to admit, this town was incredibly eerie. If that's what you're into, then this might be the PERFECT stop for you!

If you are in or around the Albuquerque Old Town plaza this evening, be sure to take a stroll past the gazebo. It is a special treat when you catch the dancers underneath the summer moonlight.
Latin Dance Night is tonight!
Get your dancing shoes ready and come to Historic Old Town from 6-9 p.m. to enjoy the sounds of Ivon Ulibarri and Cafe Mocha. The Gazebo will be full of music and you’re invited to dance under the summer sky.

As a child of the desert I have grown up surrounded by the beauty of the Southwest and immersed in our unique blend of cultures. It is important to me to be an active contributor to my community which I believe my work allows me to do in a special way.
