The Jemez Mountains are particular favorites of mine. No matter what season you go out there, you will be met with beautiful New Mexico vistas. It was so great to just get out of the city for a bit.

What a great way to start out the new year! I was able to do something I've been wanting to do for some time - take some sunset pictures at White Sands. I'll definitely go back for more, but this trip was a special one because my parents went along with me. My mom was born and raised here in NM, my dad has been here since he was 18, and neither had ever been down to see White Sands.
