Worked decades to own a home outright, and the property tax bill still shows up every year like it never got the memo. It's less "you own it" and more "you're renting it from the county," just with extra paperwork. A lot of long-time homeowners are watching their tax bills outpace their actual income growth, which makes that "paid off" milestone feel a little less final than advertised.

$350 for hair, $125 for nails, and $225 for lashes… but somehow the monthly budget still feels impossible. At some point, the math starts speaking louder than the excuses. 😅

Paying $165.42 today for the exact same 30 grocery items that cost $70.20 back in January 2020 is definitely a mood. Checking old Walmart app orders turns out to be a great way to hurt your own feelings.
