💙 We appreciate youth groups volunteering at our campuses! They bring strength, enthusiasm, and fun. Thank you for your help with prepping the beds, moving furniture, and putting things together.

😎 Summer Fun Series!

🍳 Families who cook together spend quality time together and eat together! 🍴

These kiddos made cornbread and yummy pudding at family nights. They also created musical instruments and completed gardening activities (painting flowerpots and making seed bombs.) There are plans to make solar ovens this month too! ♨️

Research shows that when children connect with supportive adults in the community, it boosts their brain development and social skills, while reducing their parent’s stress. Our 2GEN approach with parents and children, creates stronger relationships, economic stability, well-being, and brighter futures for everyone in the family and community.

💙 This we want to thank a group of volunteers from Deloitte and
New Mexico Dept. of Workforce Solutions! The groups joined forces to help us with some big projects. They helped with weeding, painting another loooong wall, organizing books in the library, and laying patio outside the Family Center. Phew!

💪🏾Thank you for your muscles, donation of materials, and energy that you brought that day. You definitely made an impact!

🌞 Summer Fun series! 🌞

📚 Some families took a field trip to a local library on the city bus! They learned about bus safety, how to ride, and bus routes. At the library, they gathered information about available resources and 3 kiddos got library cards! And 6 children signed up for summer reading.

🚌 In a safe environment families can try new things together. Working together they build trust, grow together in the new experience, and make memories together.
