Every week, I write names on bags and wonder how this became my life. What started as a dream has become fresh bread on dinner tables, cinnamon rolls shared with family, and customers who come back week after week.

Well, this is a first. 😅

It's Friday, and for the first time in a long while, I'm not knee-deep in cinnamon roll dough, bagel shaping, or trying to find counter space for everything that's proofing.

Usually by now the kitchen is in full bakery mode, but this week was surprisingly quiet on the bagel and cinnamon roll front.

And honestly? I'm enjoying the slower day.

One of the things I'm learning as I grow Well, Bread! is that every week looks a little different. Some weeks you all clear me out of one item before I can blink, and other weeks something I expected to be a hit barely gets touched.

So now I'm curious...

Sometimes it's the little things.

This week, it's these new bread bags. They fit my loaves perfectly, and seeing them lined up for pickup this morning made me stop and smile.

The imposter syndrome has been loud today. This bakery has been a dream of mine for most of my adult life, and watching it grow week after week still feels a little unreal.

Every Saturday, as I write your names on bags and set out your orders, I'm reminded that none of this happens without you.

Thank you for trusting me to bake for your families. Thank you for telling your friends. Thank you for supporting small. Thank you for supporting local.

They say everyone starts somewhere.

This is my somewhere.

A folding table on my porch. Fresh bread cooling in the kitchen. Your names written on paper bags. Early mornings, late nights, and a dream that's finally becoming real.

To some, this may just look like bread.

To my family, it's opportunity, hope, and a future we're building one loaf at a time.
