Happy USMC birthday/Veteran's Day! On this day, most would tell you to "go thank a Marine/Veteran", but I propose a better idea: let them have a day full of peace.

This is not to say your thanks aren't appreciated, but rather, they aren't needed. We all (myself included) were part of a voluntary force in readiness, and we knew what we were asking for.

So if you'd like to "thank" a veteran today, help them know the peace they preserved, especially my fellow infantry bois. We all know some of us carried more of that burden than others... 😎
