George Washington Legacy Foundation

The George Washington Legacy Foundation is pleased to announce an exciting essay competition for 7th and 8th grade students enrolled in any Alexandria Junior High School to delve into the rich history of George Washington in Alexandria. Students are challenged to craft an original 700-1,000 word essay on “George Washington’s Involvement with Alexandria, Virginia.” The prize for the winning essay is $500.
